With bright sunshine, warm temperatures of 22 degrees and a pleasant breeze, late summer celebrated its comeback just in time for our com-a-tec summer party on 20 September, creating perfect conditions for swinging golf clubs and organising a barbecue in the idyllic Bad Dürrheim “Kurpark”. This year's party enjoys great popularity, because not only our friends from "Die Firmenhistoriker" were invited to the party, but over 30 team members with their families and acquaintances were present and made our summer party a lively and communicative get-together.

With golf clubs in our hands, we started with the first part of the programme - Adventure Golf. On 4,000m² and 18 modelled courses, teams had to play around bridges, heights and streams in order to play the golf ball into the hole with as few strokes as possible. Team spirit, creativity and skill were required.

After we had exhausted ourselves at the Adventure Golf, the champagne reception was waiting for us at the "Narrenschopf". But that wasn't it, the invites had the chance to get an exclusive tour in the 360° cinema, where we immersed ourselves deeply in the customs of the Swabian-Alemannic carnival and experienced the world of fools, hare and masks in a new dimension.

And because the weather was on our side, nothing stood in the way of the barbecue in the "Kuppel 3" at the end of the evening. The caterer, who was specially engaged for the summer party, provided a true experience catering. From flank steak from the charcoal smoker to giant prawns from the Mongolian grill - with this selection of hearty grill specialities, every palate got its money's worth. Of course, an award ceremony was a must on such an evening and the three winning teams of the Adventure Golf were proud to accept their prizes.

For those who were still full of energy after the barbecue went together with the other night owls to Villingen on the Färberstraße, which is also often called the pub mile. Of course, com-a-tec had made provisions for a safe way home and organised group fares.
